IIOIOIOII (I.O) — and we didn’t quite expect the
storm that followed. The Rising Sky single got
glowing reviews from all outlets that featured it
in addition it became semi-viral in the Synthpop
scene and promoters and stations from Dark Asylum to
EBM Addiction were all over it — in addition to it
even finding its way to the Something Awful and World
of Warcraft forums (Yes we scratched our heads
too!)

Sun is definitely hot property (Pun not intended)
so hot in fact that we have made the executive
decision to get this album to you BEFORE Christmas
as opposed to the originally planned date of January
10th — expect Santa to have these tunes stuck in his
head for a while

Like Rising Sky before it Sun is laden with
slow catchy intimate Synthpop offerings — at times
sounding like OhGr meets Blutengel (but with none of
the clich s that the latter respectfully likes to
play out)

There’s areas where the synth work echoes
Acretongue’s unique soundscapes — there’s areas where
Depeche Mode sound like they’re being remixed by
Hioctan — but IIOIOIOII is his own special entity

Sun comes with Remixes from our own Garten der
Asche and talented UK act Dreams Divide (who deliver
a rather French House inspired remix)
Mexican act Art Deko complete the confirmed list but
as we are rather teasing individuals here you’ll
have to wait to see the final two remixers. There’s
also more material that’s not coming out on this
album — watch this space ;)
